How to find us
By Car
Coming from München/Memmingen:
Motorway A96 Lindau – exit Lindau – take the 3rd exit in the roundabout and drive straight onto the “Bregenzerstraße” – In the next roundabout (close to the shopping center Lindaupark), take the 4th exit and follow the signposting “Nonnenhorn, Wasserburg, Lindau-Bodolz” – follow this street until you see a yellow health center on the left facing an optician’s shop – turn left into the “Holdereggenstraße” – you will find us on the left side – Holdereggenstraße 11
Coming form Friedrichshafen:
Main road B31 Lindau – exit Kressbronn – drive through Kressbronn and Wasserburg to Lindau. After the place-name sign, take the 1st exit in the roundabout – in the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit – keep left and follow this street until you see a pet shop called „Fressnapf“ – shortly after this shop, turn right into the „Holdereggenstraße“ – you will find us on the left side – Holdereggenstraße 11
Coming from motorway A14/A96 Austria or Bregenz city:
Motorway A14/A96 – exit Lindau (right after the Austrian-German border) – follow the signposting “Nonnenhorn, Wasserburg, Lindau” – in the roundabout (close to the shopping center Lindaupark), take the 4th exit and follow the street until you see a yellow health centre facing an optician’s shop – turn left into the “Holdereggenstraße” – you will find us on the left side – Holdereggenstraße 11
Coming from Kempten / main road B12:
Pass the Lindau place-name sign – drive for 400 metres – then turn into the Ludwig-Kick-Straße (direction Lindau island) – follow the street straight ahead – drive through the 1st roundabout – in the 2nd roundabout (next to the supermarket EDEKA), take the 2nd exit – in the 3rd roundabout, take the 2nd exit – keep left and follow the street until you see a pet shop called „Fressnapf“ – then, turn right into the „Holdereggenstraße“ – you will find us on the left side – Holdereggenstraße 11
By Train
Arriving at Lindau main station:
After arrival in the Lindau main station (on the island), take bus 1 or 2 for 4 stations and get off at the ZUP (central interchange point). From ZUP station, you can either walk 450 m / 6 minutes in order to reach our house or you change buses.
Walking path (5 min.): Leave the ZUP station towards the direction you came from – keep to the right and in front of the Aeschach cemetery, take the path towards the main street “Langenweg” – continue walking towards “Commerzbank” – turn right into the ‘Holdereggenstraße’ right after the optician’s shop. There you will find us on the left side – Holdereggenstraße 11.
By bus: In ZUP station, enter bus line 4 with destination “Alwind” and get off at the bus stop “Lärche” (first bus stop after ZUP) – on the left you will see our red house – Holdereggenstraße 11
By plane
After arriving on the Bodensee Airport, take the train to Lindau and follow the directions ‚by train“.
